Grays team up with Relay for life.
Your Greeley Grays spent part of Friday and Saturday morning helping set up and tear down this years Relay for Life held at the Island Grove Regional Park.
Since the team had a game Friday night it was impossible to participate in the walk, but according to Grays GM Chris Waters, establishing a relationship with the Relay was an important goal for the 2008 season.
"Cancer touches every corner of society - every family has been touched, everyone has a loved one or knows someone who faces a battle with cancer. The least we can do is have our healthy your men spend some time off the field helping out this great event."
This years relay raised over $395,000 and the Grays welcome all walkers & survivors who participated in this year's event to attend the Grays game on Sunday June 8th - this years t-shirt is your ticket to the game!

Grays Players visit local libraries.
On Tuesday, June 3rd and Thursday, June 5th players from Your Greeley Grays visited Farr and Centennial Park libraries to participate in the summer reading program.
The players had the opportunity to talk for around 30 minutes on sportsmanship, working hard to accomplish goals, what it's like to be on the team - then they read books, took questions from the kids and posed for photos and signed autographs.
Your Greeley Grays are committed to a program of community out reach that enables the public to interact with quality young men while they aid in the betterment of the community. The team will have many opportunities this season to add value to the community by: reading to children at the local libraries, holding clinics at the Boys & Girls Club, walking in the annul Cancer walk among others.
Please contact General Manger Chris Waters if you would like to have Your Greeley Grays participate with, or volunteer to work with your group or organization. Send an E-mail to cwwaters@greeleygrays.comor call him at (970) 405-5803
